Turmeric and ginger smoothie

This smoothie is easy to digest and will keep you full for hours. Turmeric and ginger and green less ripened banana are all great for feeding the microbiome in your gut. Brazil nuts are a great addition to this smoothie, one brazil nut provides your daily requirements of selenium. A mineral needed to support a healthy thyroid.

Prep Time
5 minutes
Ingredients
1 green banana less ripened
½ an apple
1–2 brazil nuts
½ tsp of ginger (fresh or dried)
1 tsp of turmeric
½ tsp of ground cinnamon
1 cup of plant-based milk eg, oat milk, almond milk, hemp milk or soy milk
Optional
1 scoop of plain protein powder
Method
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
